The Ginsmiths of Liverpool
The Ginsmiths of Liverpool take inspiration from Liverpool and it’s maritime history. We liked the idea that Liverpool’s garden was the whole world, they City’s links to ports all around the globe gave us license to source interesting overseas botanicals to use alongside our locally sourced ingredients.
Our distillery sits in the heart of the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool itself and our gins are all hand bottled on site by our distillery team.
We love creating new Gins
John O’Dowd our head Ginsmith loves creating new gins with new and interesting botanicals, these experimental gins are tried out in Love Lane Brewery Bar & Kitchen and if customers are positive -we create some for our own cocktails and the very best gins go on sale here and in the shop as Love Lane Gins.
The Ginsmiths make small batches of gin and the gin that epitomises our Liverpool Maritime links is The Ginsmiths of Liverpool Merchant Navy Gin at 51% – The other two in our core range are The Ginsmiths of Liverpool Dry Gin which uses the official flower of Liverpool –Sea Holly and Marshmallow Gin – an old tom style – but not sweet.
Love Lane Pomegranate Pink
All our Gins are juniper forward and although the market has moved to sweeter, coloured Gins we are proud of the 3 original Ginsmiths gins and have had fantastic feedback on them.
Love Lane Pomegranate Pink enjoy at home – perfect for the summer and on trend for the love of pink gin that the UK has developed in recent months.
We have plenty more gins that John has created and we will be starting our own gin club – name to be confirmed and details to be confirmed but if you are interested
please fill in our contact form and mark it Gin Club!
